[Hunza\/Lahore, 21st<\/sup> May 2026]<\/strong> Global music platform Humnava<\/strong> has unveiled its sixth release, a qawwali <\/strong>titled Lost in Love<\/em>,<\/strong> continuing Season 1\u2019s journey of bringing together artists, cultures, sounds, and emotions through music rooted in collaboration, creative exchange, and shared human experience.<\/p>\n

Some loves cannot be named, only felt. Lost in Love<\/em> is a confession from those who dared to carry hearts, and lost them. Sung in the ancient tradition of collective surrender, the qawwali speaks to a friend, a beloved, a divine presence, or perhaps all three at once. In its world, the line between devotion and longing dissolves, as it always does in true ishq<\/em>. It becomes an admission of being undone by love, and still choosing it again.<\/p>\n

Set against the evocative landscape of Hunza and recorded at Hostel Nomads<\/strong>, the song brings together the depth of traditional qawwali expression with the warmth of contemporary arrangement, creating a soundscape that feels intimate, expansive, and deeply human.<\/p>\n

Curated by Xulfi and Sherry Khattak<\/strong>, Lost in Love<\/em> features vocals by Zain Ali and Zohaib Ali<\/strong> of Zain Zohaib, along with Shahid Hussain<\/strong>, Rehan Ali<\/strong> of Damsaaz, and backing vocals by Meherban Aleem<\/strong>, Faizan Ali<\/strong>, Basit Khan<\/strong>, and Nawaz Ali Khan Rozdar<\/strong>. The song also features Humnava vocalists Ehsan Ali, Ruzzam Ali, Sameer Ali, Abdul Waheed, Muhabat Ali, Sharafat Ali, Raheel Anwar, and Mudassar Ali<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The qawwali arrangement brings together a rich ensemble of musicians, including Jbinternational on bass, Jojo on drums, Elijah Solo on electric guitars, Melvin Arthur on acoustic guitars, Ali Habib and Abdul Wajid on rubab<\/strong>, and Adnan Karim on dholak and percussions<\/strong>. Written by Zain Zohaib, Imran Hunzai, and Xulfi<\/strong>, composed by Zain Zohaib and Xulfi<\/strong>, arranged by Xulfi and Sherry Khattak<\/strong>, and produced and mixed by Xulfi<\/strong>, the track reflects Humnava\u2019s ability to create a space where diverse musical traditions do not simply meet, but move together.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the release, Co-Founder and Creative Director Xulfi<\/strong> said: \u201cLost in Love is one of those songs where love refuses to stay in one form. It can be for a friend, for a beloved, for the divine, or for something within us that we are still trying to understand. That is the beauty of true ishq. It does not always introduce itself clearly. Sometimes it only arrives as a feeling, and by the time you recognise it, you have already been changed by it.<\/em><\/p>\n

For me, this qawwali carries the spirit of collective surrender. It is not one voice speaking alone. It is many hearts admitting the same truth together, that we loved, we were undone by it, and we would still choose it again. There is pain in that, but there is also so much grace.<\/em><\/p>\n

What made this song special was the coming together of so many voices and textures. Zain Zohaib brought a depth that feels rooted and timeless, while the musicians and vocalists around them created this beautiful collective energy. The rubab, the dholak, the guitars, the voices, everything felt like it was carrying the same emotion in its own language.<\/em><\/p>\n

That is what Humnava is about for me. It is about finding emotional truth between people, places, and sounds. Lost in Love carries that truth. It is a song about losing yourself, but also finding something larger through that surrender.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The accompanying music video has been directed by Aamir Mughal<\/strong>, with Ghous Hussain and Shahzaib Qureshi<\/strong> as associate directors. The video features second unit direction of photography by Babar Dahr, Fahad Mehmood, Mir Tayyab Khan<\/strong>, and Fahad Mehmood<\/strong>, with Xulfi<\/strong> serving as consulting editor-director. Post-video production is by Mehroz Raza<\/strong>, with grade by Leonardo Mareso<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The production design has been led by Aqeel ur Rehman<\/strong>, with art direction by Sara Vohra<\/strong>, styling by Wajeeha Badar<\/strong>, wardrobe management by Sabir Amin<\/strong>, and hair and grooming by Trio Salon<\/strong>. The visual world of Lost in Love<\/em> extends the emotional language of the song, placing love, memory, devotion, and musical communion within a setting that feels both grounded in place and universal in feeling.<\/p>\n

Through Lost in Love<\/em>, Humnava continues to build on the emotional and musical arc of Season 1. Following the releases of Hairan Amanam<\/em>, Noor-e-Nazar<\/em>, Qataghani<\/em>, Holoyor<\/em>, and Sway<\/em>, the sixth release deepens the platform\u2019s exploration of how music can carry stories across cultures, languages, and geographies while remaining rooted in Pakistan.<\/p>\n
