On 27 February, the curtains fell on an impressive four week event of Pakistan Super League seventh edition, with a vibrant closing ceremony that celebrated the future rising stars, athletes, partners, and supporters who have made HBL PSL7 2022 such a spectacular event.
PCB also handed out 1 year contracts to 100 junior cricketers between 13 and 19 years of age as part of PCB’s Junior Development Program. Seeing the fervor of audience, Ramiz also added that a new stadium should be built in Lahore which can seat 50,000 people.
The grand entry of International drifter Abdo Feghali left the audience speechless!
Highlights of the event were the beautiful rendition of the National Anthem by Hadia Hashmi and the astonishing drifting performance by Abdo Feghali. The closing ceremony included a four-minute drifting act performed by Guinness world record holder Abdo Feghali who is also a Red Bull athlete and motorsports champion, in the cultural heart of Pakistan i.e. Lahore. Drifting act was performed in a safe environment and under the care of experts to promote motorsports community.
The iconic Gaddafi Stadium provided the picture-perfect setting to the HBL Pakistan Super League 2022 finale on Sunday between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars. In this thrilling and nail-biting finale, Lahore Qalandars have been crowned champions of PSL 7.
