This powerful predilection has now come from Multi-talented actress Humaira Ali. A recent performance uncovered all of her talents which she produced last month in Turkey. She pays homage to the strength of the artists and courage to do it in a spectacular underwater dance that no other one in the local entertainment industry could do.<\/p>\n

Humaira Ali is a amazingly talented artist who has made her name in the entertainment industry in a short span of time. She is a talented actress, beautiful model, theatre artist, qualified painter and sculptor, fitness trainer. She also performed recently in a popular reality TV show, \u2018Tamasha\u2019 achieved an award as most strongest contestant and audience loved her entire show. Humaira not only proved herself as a versatile actress but also as a model, fitness and health true enthusiast who lost 30kg weight before joining the fashion industry and inspired many others by her daily fitness routine and amazing workouts. Her body transformation journey is one of the finest transformations we\u2019ve seen till date. Such determination and qualities made her stand tall among all her peers and fellow artists from the entire Pakistan entertainment industry.<\/p>\n

The Making of a Masterpiece<\/strong><\/p>\n

For years, Humaira said, she thought about such a performance that would feature underwater choreography despite that she had already experienced drowning in her childhood and had developed fears from going into water. However, she did not give up her dream, overcame her fears, learnt swimming and underwater yoga, hoping to produce a personal portrait that would evoke strong emotions from the viewer, pain as well as joy.<\/p>\n

Two years ago, she said, she went to Turkey for an award show and got a chance to meet some producers and designers. Luckily, she said, they made the similar offer and asked her for some projects and editorial shoots with them. Humaira accepted the offer and went to Turkey to complete three editorials with them this year in February.<\/p>\n

“We discussed and planned about every single detail, I was very excited as the theme they shared was close to my heart for many reasons. It was related to my childhood memories which had a strong impact on me,”.<\/p>\n

“I must say my intuition was right about them as they were highly professionals and skilled people to work with advanced techniques,” said the actress.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

She stated that the project was based on how an artist could paint under the water or like the performance featuring the idea of a poet about love and dance beneath the water. Keeping the theme in mind, she had to give her the best.<\/p>\n

Once decided, Humaira and her crew needed to find a venue in which they would be able to film. Natural environments, while beautiful, could not offer clear enough water to be able to discern facial expressions. Humaira also hoped that while watching the film, viewers would forget that she was even in water. She wanted to produce moments that gave the impression that she was flying or moving like a painting.<\/p>\n

Humaira and her film crew eventually chose a spectacular dive pool somewhere in Turkey. It was 6 o’clock in the morning and it was freezing chilled water there amid extremely cold weather. Unfortunately, the pool’s burners were also not working but she went inside and started shooting. She stayed under the water for 4 hours.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In the beginning, it was quite difficult for her yet very close to her heart for many reasons. She was also suffering from fever at that time when it was going to happen. She had to keep her body posture like a ballerina on her toes. The silk long gown was sticking to her body because of the cold water, so she had to keep and fix the outfit in one direction and hair in the opposite direction. Keeping her eyes open throughout was too difficult as the chlorine level in the water was too high. She had to hold her breath for more than a minute, had to keep softer expressions, and gentle body language. She had to keep the flowers in her hand with the right position and had to perform like a flowing painter who is creating a painting under the water. She had to hold everything perfectly in place and smile away from the camera. It definitely was a tough nut to crack but she did it.<\/p>\n

An Homage to art and courage to do it<\/p>\n

Humaira who strongly believed in love and humanity described her underwater shoot as a present to the artists whose work touches their strength, suffering, resiliency and accomplishment. Undertaking such an occupation, Humaira said, required great strength and above all cohesion among the women artists. These qualities were of great importance to her as he properly learnt art before doing it. The concept is transferable to the artists as a whole.<\/p>\n

But, she said, overcoming the fears with courage is a must for success.<\/p>\n
