The opening day of Pantene HUM Bridal Couture Week, presented by Pantene powered by Bisconni Chocolatto, Sparx Smart Phones and NEO by Kaizen Paints, showcased a lineup of renowned designers who captivated the audience with their innovative collections, pushing the boundaries of bridal couture and redefining contemporary fashion trends…like the FAHAD HUSSAYN SOLO SHOW said “The cultural rejection and disconnect are fast growing and what was once shared history is now also a list of taboos. Craft, artistry, and an entire industry trickling down to mere trade of day-to-day items in a race to make a better life. Fahad Hussayn presents “THE COLLATERAL CONVENTION”; an illustrious Spring Summer ’24 collection celebrating 15 successful years in fashion. The collection is a ballad of traditions intermixed with contemporary trends of wedding culture while each finely crafted thread of this luxurious collection tells a tale of its own. Derived from the houses’ most prized archival pieces lost to the previous series of unfortunate events. The collection features designs derived from the designers’ favorite elements such as embroidered landscapes, fantasy florals and indigenous carpet weaves reimagined in 3D embellishments, metal embellishments, zardozzi, revivalist embroideries, traditonal zardozi and succha gota.
Harris Shakeel, had the elegant and graceful Saboor Aly as his show stopper and designer Atif Iqbal, showcased Imran Ashraf and Abdullah Muzaffar in their bridal collections on the first day of HUM Bridal Couture Week!
Designer Arif Ashrafs collection Inteezar, was a journey of anticipation, timeless elegance, and enduring tradition. This enchanting ensemble captured the essence of cherished celebrations, from a mehndi’s radiant glamour to the wedding day’s regal splendor show stopping for him was Komal Meer.
Designer Kashees, had shows-stopping for him the handsome Junaid Niazi, versatile actress Tooba Amir and Laiba! As well as Javeria Saud, Shaista Lodhi and Neelam Muneer!
Asif Nazeer’s “Embroidered Romance”; whose inspiration weaves a tale from the intricate tapestry of Persian geometric patterns, paying homage to the architectural wonders of Multan and drawing on the delicate artistry found in pottery. This collection was a seamless fusion of tradition and modernity, the designs in the intricate embellishment motifs, inspired by the beauty of chintz patterns. Designer Komal Chawlas , collection “Rang Diyan Zanjiran” says, sharing a strong social message “This collection celebrates diverse color complexions.
