Dear reader,

I’m so excited to bring you yet another action packed issue. On our cover this issue we’ve got a fabulous shoot by Mohsin Khawar. Mohsin is one of the senior photographers in the industry and working with him is always a pleasure.

This editorial brings together a concept we’ve never seen before. I hope you guys enjoy the images as much we enjoyed shooting for you. Our very own Isra Sheikh interviewed singer Mehak Ali for you guys. Reading about Mehak’s journey and her creative process was an absolute treat.

Dear reader,

This issue is very special to me because I’ve been a lifelong fan of Meera Ji. She’s an icon for every Pakistani and speaking to her for this issue was an absolute honour. A huge shoutout to Mohsin, one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure to work with, who shot this cover. He shot Meera Ji in a way she’s never been seen before. There were so many things I wanted to ask her about her career, her personal life and so much more. I was so excited when she spoke so openly. Working with Meera Ji was a delight. She is so humble and down to earth.
Do check out Jacqueline Fernandez for Lajwanti. Lajwanti is a brand that is run by a mother-daughter duo. I’ve seen the brand grow enormously over the past few years and can’t wait to see them succeed even more. This is a huge milestone for Pakistani fashion and especially Lajwanti.

Dear reader,
I write my first editorial with profound gratitude as the Editor of GT Magazine. I’ll begin thanking Ms. Jugnu Mohsin and all the editors who have been a part of the Magazine, for their stewardship has left the journal in a healthy position with increasing volumes and impact!
