Sounds too good to be true, right? WRONG! Mountain Dew launched Pakistan’s first ever Augmented Reality print ads for Dew Gamers Arena and people all over the country were absolutely amazed. Two popular magazines sported pictures of DGA’s winning teams. All people had to do was take their phone and scan the photo using Facebook Cam and voila! The teams on the cover came to life, or rather, their augmented reality versions did. Either way you slice it, people were astounded to see their favorite DGA Alphas popping out of a print mag! The DGA campaign already created a lot of deafening buzz, and the addition of this industry first ad proved that Dew is always ready to take it to the next level. The AR print ad was a true example of innovation: the clever use of digital tech with print added a whole new dimension to these magazines!
